Discover how to get hundreds of backlinks to boost your website
search engine rankings quickly and easily. Of the many tools and
techniques available to boost search engine rankings of your websites,
backlinks are one of the most important and easiest to implement. This
article briefly compares backlinks to other link popularity
techniques, explains what backlinks are and how they work, and reveals
how to get lots of them quickly.
There are many techniques and tools available on the
Internet to boost your search engine rankings for your website. You
can use expensive Search Engine Optimization (SEO) tools to increase
your page rank, link exchange programs to boost link popularity, and
popular, targeted keywords in your page title, meta tags (e.g.,
description and keywords), image captions, and page text. However, one
of the most powerful ways to increase your page rank is to get
backlinks.
Besides targeting your webpage content, which you
should do anyway, one of the key things search engines like Google
consider in your page rank is link popularity. In other words, how
popular is your site; how many other websites have links pointing to
your website. The more links you have pointing at your site, the more
popular your site is, and the higher your site search engine ranking
will be.
This is why link exchanges exist. The basic idea is
you offer to create a link to a website that belongs to someone else
if they will create a site to yours. The more popular their site
becomes, the more popular yours becomes; and vice versa. The problem
is while you get credit for the link to your site, you lose a little
bit of credit for the link from your site. Furthermore, for the links
to make much of a difference, you really need a bunch of sites linking
to you.
Another important factor in your link exchanges is
the popularity of the site linking to you. Their link to your site
counts for more if their site is already highly popular. Of course, if
the other site is very popular already, you need to have something
significant to offer, or they really will not care if they exchange
links with you or not.
A modification of this approach is to link to .org
and .edu sites. The Google search engine gives you extra points for
that, but to get full benefit, the .org or .edu site needs to link to
you as well.
Another popular approach to exchanging links is to
join a link exchange network, where the whole purpose of joining is to
exchange links with lots of sites. There is at least one network that
will automatically create hundreds of links between sites for a
monthly fee. Yet another has a way to give you 3 or more backlinks to
your site in exchange for only one link from your site. This is a good
plan, except their monthly fee runs about $60 per month.
Fortunately, there is a better way to generate
backlinks. Unlike reciprocal link exchanges, backlinks are one way.
They link to your site, but you do not link to there; you get maximum
bonus points for link popularity. Of course, you still need a lot of
backlinks to make a difference.
The reason this particular type of link is called a
backlink is because it really exists because you submitted something
out that points back to your site. There are a few ways to do this.
The most popular ways are to write articles, blog entries, and forum
comments with a backlink in your signature line or Resource (a.k.a,
About The Author) box at the end of an article.
In other words, you create an article, blog comment,
or forum comment that provides value, information, or entertainment to
a site that publishes such data, and in return, the publisher lets you
put a link (usually just one) in your Resource Box pointing back to
your website. This gives you credit authority in your niche,, a
valuable benefit for contributing quality content (which boosts the
article, blog, or forum site search engine page rank), and a chance to
invite the reader to your website for more good information.
Unfortunately, submitting an article, blog entry, or
forum comment one at a time can become very tedious and boring really
fast. If you only had to do it once, it would not be bad, but as
stated earlier, you need to do it many, many times to get much of a
benefit. So, entering your article by hand several hundred times per
article would take hours if not days.
This is why article directories and blog submitters
were born. First of all, many article directories are already very
highly ranked with the search engines, because they have GigaBytes of
ever-growing content and lots of links to their sites. Furthermore,
they have tremendous exposure to thousands of readers, and in most
cases, readers can take the articles and publish them on their own
sites (while still keeping the unmodified Resource Box with your
backlink). This lets you get multiple backlinks by submitting to a
single directory.
As you might imagine, however, there are hundreds of
article directories alone; well over 400 and that does not even count
blogs and forums (think tens of thousands here). And as stated
earlier, more is better. So, of course, you want to submit to multiple
article directories because they are available, but once again, it is
tedious to submit to hundreds or even just ten article directories for
every article you want to publish.
Ta da! Article submitters were born. The best way to
get thousands of backlinks to your websites from hundreds or thousands
of different websites to really build search engine rankings is to use
article submitters. Of course, there are value-added services that
will screen and submit your articles to hundreds of article
directories automatically for a monthly fee. These sites are probably
worth it since they will ensure your articles follow the rules most
article directories require such as no weblinks in the body of the
article, no selling in the article, no quotation marks or apostrophes,
etc. Some of these services even include free software to help you
write your article faster.
However, if you do not want to pay a monthly fee
(who does?), you can get software to submit your articles to a handful
of the most popular article directories. Most of the time, the
software is relatively in expensive and comes with a one-time cost
only. That makes it a worthwhile investment. Spend $20 or $30
one-time, configure your software once, and simply submit your article
automatically in a few minutes every time you write an article. You can
find scores of services and software packages simply be entering
something like Article Submitter in the search engines. So here's the
real jewel ... Now there is a way you can actually generate
1 Million backlinks to your website in less than 30 seconds effort ...
For FREE ... all with a single article!
The bottom line is backlinks are one of the most
important ways to get a high page rank from the search engines, and
they are easy to get. All you need to do is submit something of value
several times per month to article directories, blogs, and/or forums.
And the easiest, quickest way to do it is via automatic article
submission software.
